Expand attending the 1st SECURE Dissemination Day: focus on cybersecurity and innovation for SMEs

The coordinator of EXPAND EDIH, Paolo Brizzi, will participate in the 1st SECURE Dissemination Day, which will be held on February 25, 2026, in Rome (European Parliament Office) and online.

The event, promoted as part of the SECURE Project, represents an important opportunity for discussion between European institutions, competence centers, industry, and cybersecurity experts, with the aim of supporting micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises in strengthening their digital resilience and preparing for the implementation of the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA).

During the day, the political context and objectives of the CRA will be presented, along with the practical implications for SMEs, the support framework offered by the SECURE project, the CRA Guidelines, and the first Open Call dedicated to businesses.

Paolo Brizzi’s participation will actively contribute to the dialogue on strengthening cybersecurity and the strategic role of the European digital innovation ecosystem in supporting SMEs through technological and regulatory transition processes. In particular, EXPAND EDIH will bring its experience in supporting businesses through guidance, training, testing, and access to funding opportunities, fostering synergies between hubs, businesses, and European stakeholders.

The event represents a key moment to consolidate the collaboration between the SECURE project and the network of European Digital Innovation Hubs, promoting a coordinated and inclusive approach to cybersecurity and the competitiveness of European SMEs.
