European Technology and Cooperation: EXPAND EDIH and EEN Take Center Stage at the Event 5g towards 6g for Citiverse

Today, Paolo Brizzi, coordinator of EXPAND EDIH, participated in the event 5G towards 6G for citiverse How AI, IoT, Blockchain and XR are driving urban innovation in future Cities Communities organized in collaboration with the Turin Chamber of Commerce. The meeting represented an important opportunity for discussion on digital innovation and business support.

In his speech, Brizzi emphasized the importance of active collaborations and the synergies that can be developed with the EEN – Enterprise Europe Network, highlighting how cooperation and innovation are central elements in EXPAND’s mission.

The EEN network, promoted by the European Commission, is the world’s largest network supporting SMEs with international ambitions. It brings together over 600 organizations in more than 60 countries, including chambers of commerce, innovation centers, universities, and development agencies. Its goal is to help businesses grow, innovate, and internationalize, offering services ranging from the search for commercial and technological partners to support for accessing European funding.

The interaction between EEN and EDIH like EXPAND represents a strategic lever to strengthen the innovation ecosystem, facilitating the adoption of advanced digital technologies and access to new development opportunities at the European level. The initiative confirmed EXPAND’s commitment to creating valuable connections among local actors, promoting concrete solutions for the digitalization and competitiveness of businesses.
